Dyed polyamide

Polymeric thermoplastic materials not only replace traditional materials such as wood, glass and metals, surpassing them in most parameters, but have also become the basis for the production of new composite materials with unique characteristics. The variety of produced polymers allows selecting a material for specific tasks that meets the functional and operational requirements.

Polyamides are indispensable in some areas of production due to the fact that they are affordable, easily recyclable polymers with a remarkable set of properties. The first mass-produced polymer of this class was polyamide-6 (caprolon, PA-6, PA-6), which appeared in the late 1930s.

Polyamide is an engineering material capable of withstanding sufficiently high thermal and mechanical loads, has high dielectric characteristics and has other qualities that determine its wide application. It is used to produce various products, including films and fibers, due to a unique set of properties: high strength, wear resistance, resistance to oils and organic solvents, high heat resistance, and others.

Dyed polyamide production

Humans are surrounded by color everywhere and everywhere, whether it is the natural color of flora and fauna or the synthetic color of clothing, furniture, housewares, etc. Many items used in everyday life are made of colored polymeric materials.

Polyamide is dyed in any color, products have a good appearance, which is important for the product to be competitive. This is achieved by using the most modern technological equipment and materials in our production.

The color is developed with the help of various international color catalogs, such as Pantone or RAL, as well as dyed samples provided by the customer.

Application of dyed polyamide

Dyed polyamide is nowadays quite common in various fields:

  • in the automotive industry;

  • in medicine;

  • in the radio and electronics industry;

  • instrumentation;

  • aviation;

  • in oil production;

  • for the manufacture of household products;

  • and so on.

Advantages of dyed polyamide

Such a wide distribution of colored PA received due to a set of unique properties that allow this material to gradually displace some types of metals from various areas of production:

  • variety of colors;

  • low coefficient of friction on metals;

  • high durability, even when working with abrasive particles;

  • polyamide is 7 times lighter than its metal counterparts;

  • excellent performance under vibration conditions;

  • resistant to chemical influences;

  • polyamide is allowed to come into contact with drinking water and foodstuffs;

  • heat conductivity coefficient of polyamide at 20-150 degrees is 0.28 W/m-K.
